Brannen, Searcy & Smith, LLP, an AV rated firm, was organized as a partnership by Perry Brannen, Sr. (1903-1984) in 1937. The firm's reputation and continuity in the community are respected, and the firm's members share a deep commitment to continuing and improving that reputation.
The firm has its offices in midtown Savannah at 22 East 34th Street on the corner of Drayton Street and 34th Street. The firm is housed in the former mansion of A. B. Hull. Mr. Hull built the stately three-story building in 1907. Around town the structure is known as "Dr. Fulmer's house," as it was for many years the residence of the Fulmers. Our mediation center is located in what was the carriage house, across the private parking lot at the rear of the building.
SAVANNAH AND CHATHAM COUNTY
Savannah is the center of the thriving southern crescent of Charleston-Savannah-Jacksonville. The city is growing both industrially and culturally at an impressive rate. It is home to a variety of cultural organizations including Savannah Philharmonic, numerous semi-professional theatre groups, numerous museums and historic landmarks, and four colleges. The City of Savannah also plays host each March to one of the world’s largest Saint Patrick’s Day parades.
Strongly committed to the community, the firm encourages its members to participate in community activities.
Tybee Island is Savannah’s beach playground and the white sands were recently replenished with the assistance of the Corps of Engineers to make it even more inviting. The islands of Hilton Head, St. Simons and Jekyll are all within easy driving distance for those who wish to visit popular resorts.
Brannen, Searcy and Smith, LLP continues to grow as Savannah grows. We are committed to the development of new practice areas and to sharpening our expertise in current areas.
